Biography

Ying Zhang is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the College of Computer Science, Nankai University, where she also serves as the Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Science and Technology. Her primary research interests include cross-media analysis, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, data mining, and machine learning. Her current research focuses on cross-media analysis and reasoning, sentiment computation in social media, and deep analysis of industry-related big data. She has published over thirty high-quality papers in prestigious international conferences and journals such as NIPS, SIGIR, KDD, IJCAI, ICDE, and IPM. She has led three National Natural Science Foundation projects and two provincial-level projects. Additionally, she has participated as a key member in eight national and provincial research projects and has obtained four invention patents along with three registered computer software copyrights.
