Biography

Hongqiang Zhai, who graduated from Tsinghua University with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, furthered his research experience at Bell Labs in China and Microsoft Research Asia. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Florida, supervised by Prof. Yuguang Fang. Presently, he is a Managing Director at Two Sigma, where he leverages his expertise in statistical learning, machine learning, deep learning, and portfolio optimization to contribute to advancements in financial technologies.
