Biography

Dr. Miao Pan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Houston, and the Director of AI, Networking Technologies, and Security Laboratory (ANTS Lab). He was a recipient of NSF CAREER Award in 2014, and five best paper awards in international conferences and technical committee including IEEE Globecom, IEEE ICC, IEEE VTC, and IEEE TCGCC. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Florida. Prior to that, he received his M.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications, and B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, respectively. From January of 2007 to August of 2007, he had been working as a research intern in NTT DOCOMO Beijing Labs. Dr. Pan’s Lab webpage: https://panlab.ece.uh.edu/
