Biography

Academic:

Dr. Linke Guo received the BE degree in electronic information science and technology from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2008. He received the MS and PhD degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida in 2011 and 2014, respectively. From August 2014 to August 2019, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Binghamton University, State University of New York. Starting from August 2019, he has been an assistant professor with Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Clemson University.

Professional:

Dr. Guo is currently serving as the editor of IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology. He also serves as the poster/demo co-chair of IEEE INFOCOM 2020. He was the publication chair of IEEE Conference on Communications and Network Security (CNS) 2016 and 2017. He was the symposium co-chair of Network Algorithms and Performance Evaluation Symposium, ICNC 2016. He has served as the Technical Program Committee (TPC) members for several conferences including IEEE INFOCOM, ICC, GLOBECOM, and WCNC. He is the co-recipient of Best Paper Award of Globecom 2015, Symposium on Communication and Information System Security. He is a member of the IEEE and ACM.

Research:

Dr. Guo’s current research interests include security and privacy in wireless network, mobile crowdsensing, IoT, eHealth/wireless healthcare, and machine learning algorithms. Dr. Guo is also strongly interested in security mechanism design for cloud-based system and usable biometrics, as well as building future wireless systems. Dr. Guo’s research is supported by National Science Foundation.
